Retreat Duty Manager - Part-Time - Permanent Location: Near Upminster, Essex (access to a car and driving licence essential)Salary: £17,702.10 per year (3 days per week) | £23,602.80 per year (4 days per week, pro rata)Hours: 3 or 4 days per week | Flexible shift rota Monday-Sunday
A luxury wellness retreat in the Essex countryside is looking for an experienced Retreat Duty Manager to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-end wellness environment, leading a passionate team and ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the retreat, ensuring smooth operations across all departments.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team delivering exceptional guest service.
- Assist with front of house duties, reservations, and guest enquiries.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any concerns professionally.
- Maintain operational and service standards at all times.
- Support senior management with operational tasks as needed.
Shift Pattern
- Flexible 3 or 4 day rota including weekends.
- Early: 7:00am - 4:00pm | Mid: 8:00am - 5:00pm | Late: 11:30am - 8:30pm
- Must be available Monday to Sunday, full flexibility required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in hospitality, hotels, spas, or retreat management.
- Strong experience in supervising or leading teams.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Confident in handling guest feedback and complaints.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude.
