Company Overview:A beautiful Cotswold stone-built hotel, just 15 miles from Oxford, is seeking an experienced Spa Manager to lead their quaint and restful spa. This unique role combines operational management with hands-on treatment delivery, perfect for someone who thrives both as a leader and a practitioner. You will be part of a friendly, welcoming team in a relaxed yet professional environment.
Job Description:As Spa Manager, you will:
- Oversee daily spa operations, including staff management, scheduling, and performance monitoring
- Ensure the spa maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and service
- Deliver a range of treatments to guests, providing a personal touch and leading by example
- Mentor, train, and support the spa team, including the Spa Supervisor reporting to you
- Handle guest feedback, ensuring an exceptional experience at all times
- Contribute to business growth through staff development, treatment promotion, and service excellence
- Participate in the hotel Duty Management rota, supporting wider hotel operations when required
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy (treating experience essential)
- Proven experience in spa management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills
- Ability to split focus between hands-on treatments and operational management
- Flexible, professional, and guest-focused approach
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Positive, engaging personality with a passion for leading and developing a team
