This is a treating position, ideal for someone with a strong spa therapy background who is looking to progress into a leadership role while remaining hands-on with treatments and guest care.
The Role
The Spa & Leisure Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of a luxury hotel's spa, gym, swimming pools and leisure facilities, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained at all times.
Working closely with the senior management team, the successful candidate will lead and develop the spa team, drive treatment and retail sales, and create memorable experiences for every guest.
This is a varied role combining operational management with hands-on spa therapy, making it perfect for someone ready to develop their leadership career.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the spa, gym, pools and leisure facilities.
- Lead, motivate and develop the Spa & Leisure team.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain luxury standards.
- Drive spa treatment bookings, retail sales and memberships.
- Manage rotas, staffing, budgets and stock control.
- Ensure health & safety, hygiene and company standards are consistently met.
- Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Carry out a range of professional spa and wellness treatments.

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working within a hotel spa or luxury spa environment.
- A recognised beauty or spa therapy qualification, NVQ 3 beauty therapy or equivalent.
- Experience delivering a range of professional spa treatments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Good commercial awareness with experience driving treatment, retail or membership sales.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
